How to Add Your AIFolio Portfolio Link to Your Resume

Add a clear AIFolio portfolio or professional-profile link to your resume header without hurting readability or making the PDF difficult to parse.

Put your AIFolio portfolio link in the contact header of your resume, beside your email address and LinkedIn profile. Use a clear label such as Portfolio, Professional profile, or Personal website, and keep the visible address readable.

Choose the label that matches the page

Use “Portfolio” when the destination highlights projects, case studies, writing, designs, products, or other evidence of work. Use “Professional profile” when the page focuses on your broader experience, skills, and availability. “Personal website” is a safe general label when the page combines both.

AIFolio can support all three uses. The label does not change the page; it tells the recruiter what kind of information to expect.

Put the link in the resume header

The most reliable placement is directly below your name and role:

[email protected] · linkedin.com/in/name · aifolio.page/name

In a designed PDF, you can also use:

Portfolio: aifolio.page/name

Do not hide the only copy of the link behind an icon or QR code. Some applicant-tracking systems flatten PDFs, and some recruiters print them. A visible URL remains useful in both cases.

Keep the resume complete without the link

The portfolio should extend your resume, not replace essential information. Keep your work history, skills, education, and contact details as normal selectable text. A recruiter or parsing system should still understand your application without opening another page.

The link earns its place by providing the detail that does not fit comfortably into the PDF: selected projects, supporting links, additional context, and the ability to ask your AI assistant a focused question.

Make sure the destination matches the application

Before applying, compare the first screen of your AIFolio page with the role:

  • The professional title should match the direction of your job search.
  • The introduction should foreground relevant experience.
  • The strongest related projects should be easy to find.
  • Contact links must work.
  • The AI chat should answer likely role-specific questions from accurate content.

You do not need a different portfolio for every application, but the public page and the resume should tell one consistent story.

Test the final PDF

Export the resume, select its text, and open the portfolio link from both desktop and mobile. Confirm that the URL is clickable, readable, and free of tracking parameters. Avoid URL shorteners: they hide the destination and can look untrustworthy.
